45 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of the legs to assess for blood clots. The veins of the legs are evaluated from the groin to the ankle in both legs.
Lower Extremity Venous Duplex Unilateral
30 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of one leg to assess for blood clots. The veins in the leg are evaluated from the groin to the ankle.
Upper Extremity Venous Duplex Unilateral
30 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of the arm to assess for blood clots. The veins in the symptomatic arm are evaluated from the neck to the wrist.
Venous Insufficiency Duplex Bilateral
60 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of the legs to assess for blood clots. The valves in the legs are also evaluated to check for blood pooling back down to the ankles.
Upper Extremity Venous Duplex Bilateral
45 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of the arms to assess for blood clots. The veins of the arms are evaluated from the neck down to the wrist on both sides.
Inferior Vena Cava and Iliac Veins
30 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of the main veins in the abdomen. This exam checks for blockage in the iliac veins and the inferior vena cava.

Arterial Ultrasound Testing
Carotid Duplex
30 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of both sides of the neck to asses for blockages in blood flow to the brain. The common carotid, internal carotid, external carotid, and vertebral arteries are investigated.
Ankle Brachial Index
30 minutes
Doppler ultrasound to assess healing potential to the feet and toes which is done by obtaining pressure in the arms and the ankles.
Aorta Ultrasound Complete
30 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of the main artery in the abdomen. This exam assess the size for potential aneurysms as well as the circulation to leading to the legs.
Arterial Segmental Lower Extremity w/ Duplex
90 minutes
Doppler ultrasound to assess blow flow in the lower extremities and digits . Blood pressure cuffs are used to identify which segment may have a blockage. This exam includes duplex ultrasound.
Arterial Lower Extremity Duplex w/ABI
90 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of the legs to assess blood flow to the feet. This exam includes ankle brachial indices which assess healing potential to the feet and toes.
Arterial Upper Extremity Duplex w/ WBI
90 minutes
Duplex ultrasound of the upper arms to assess blood flow to the fingers. This exam includes wrist brachial indices to assess if the arm and fingers are getting adequate blood supply.
